Fellowship of the Ring (also known as the Company of the Ring) are a group of fictional characters featured in The Lord of the Rings, first appearing in The Fellowship of the Ring.
Lord of the Rings[]
The role of the fellowship remains the same in the film as it does in the book. However, their journey is cut in the segment of The Two Towers.
Rankin and Bass' Return of the King[]
The fellowship is broken by the time of the cartoon, and it completely ignores the first two movies and acted as a sequel to the 1977 FILM The Hobbit. The only members of the fellowship missing are Boromir, Legolas and Gimli.
