Frodo is seen in the prologue of the film. At first, he sees that Bilbo is sitting at his desk writing his adventures in the Red Book. He goes to see what his uncle is writing, but Bilbo tells him to not look because it is not ready yet. Frodo later tells Bilbo that many find him quite odd and unsociable. Mr. Baggins denies it, and gives a suspicious Frodo a task in putting a sign on the door. He goes to wait for Gandalf in West Farthing Woods.
